Baerbock calls on Bundestag to immediately unblock €3 billion in additional aid to Ukraine
Germany must urgently release 3 billion euros in additional aid for Ukraine, which should be one of six points that Germany and its allies must implement to support Ukraine and strengthen their own security.
These points were voiced in a special statement for the press on Saturday in Berlin by German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, as reported by an Ukrinform correspondent.
“First of all, we must immediately restore our German support for Ukraine. I call on all democratic parties represented in the Bundestag to unblock the 3 billion euros of aid that are under lock and key,” Baerbock said.
Other important topics she raised concerned EU aid to Ukraine and strengthening the bloc's own defence capabilities.
