Putin must agree to full and immediate ceasefire without any conditions – Starmer

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has responded to Russia's missile strike on Sumy by saying Russian dictator Vladimir Putin must agree to a “complete and immediate” ceasefire.

As reported by Ukrinform, he stated this on the social network X.

“I am appalled by Russia’s horrific attacks on civilians in Sumy, and my thoughts are with the victims and their families at this tragic time,” Starmer said.

He stressed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has demonstrated his commitment to peace.

“Putin must now agree to a complete and immediate ceasefire without any conditions,” Starmer added.

On April 13, Russian troops launched two ballistic missiles at the center of Sumy.

According to the latest data from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, as a result of the missile strike on Sumy on April 13, 32 people were killed and 99 were injured, including 11 children.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha said Ukraine was sharing detailed information about the attack with its partners and international organizations, and called on all capitals and headquarters to actively respond to the crime.
