Ambassador Zaluzhny discussed the fight against the Russian "shadow fleet" with the IMO Secretary General

Ukrainian Ambassador to the UK Valeriy Zaluzhny discussed the issue of combating the Russian “shadow fleet” and Ukraine’s needs with the Secretary General of the International Maritime Organization Arsenio Dominguez.

Zaluzhny reported this on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.

“I presented my credentials to the Secretary General of the International Maritime Organization, Arsenio Dominguez. We discussed cooperation, the fight against the “shadow fleet,” and Ukraine's need to develop its maritime potential. Ukraine is a maritime nation. And we continue to follow this path, even in a storm,” Zaluzhny noted.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published information about 31 vessels and 11 Russian captains involved in schemes to circumvent sanctions restrictions on trade in Russian oil.
