Ukrainian oil company Ukrnafta reported net profit of UAH 16.38 billion for 2024 – CEO

PJSC Ukrnafta announced a net profit of UAH 16.38 billion for 2024, as the company's CEO Serhiy Koretsky reported on his Facebook page on Tuesday.

“Now it's official… Crowe Erfolg has completed an independent international audit of Ukrnafta. Every figure is confirmed by official financial statements,” Koretsky wrote.

According to the CEO, for the second year in a row the company has shown growth in oil and gas production, an increase in sales of petroleum products and an expansion of its market share in the retail fuel sales segment.

Ukrnafta is Ukraine's largest oil company and operates a national network of petrol stations. In March 2024, the company took over the management of Glusco's assets and now controls 544 petrol stations – 461 owned and 83 managed.

Ukrnafta holds 92 licenses for industrial development of deposits; its balance sheet includes 1,832 oil and 154 gas production wells.

The main shareholder of Ukrnafta is NAK Naftogaz of Ukraine, which owns 50% plus one share.

In November 2022, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine decided to transfer the company's corporate rights, previously owned by private shareholders, to the state. These shares are now under the control of the Ministry of Defense.
