Epicenter Ceramic Corporation to Increase Production by 25.3% in 2024

In 2024, the Epicenter Ceramics corporation increased production volumes by 25.3%, producing 7.7 million square meters of ceramic tiles, as the company's director Vladimir Syrov told the Interfax-Ukraine agency.

In 2024, the ceramic tile market in Ukraine decreased by 4.3% compared to 2023, amounting to 28.1 million square meters (in pre-war 2021 – 44.5 million square meters). This decline was caused by a significant reduction in imports by 19.5%. At the same time, domestic manufacturers showed positive dynamics: production volumes increased by 4.7%, and exports – by a record 72.7%.

“Despite the overall market decline, Epicenter Ceramic Corporation increased its production by 25.3%, producing 7.7 million square meters of tiles. This allowed the company to reach pre-war levels and even exceed them by 5% compared to 2021. In addition, we were able to improve our position and rise from third to second place among all manufacturers in Ukraine,” Syrov noted.

According to him, the results achieved open up opportunities for bold plans for the future, with an emphasis on expanding the geography and volumes of exports.

As previously reported, in 2019, Epicenter K invested UAH 3 billion in the construction of the largest ceramic tile plant with an area of 70 thousand square meters in Kalinovka (Kyiv region). The facility is located on a 20-hectare territory next to the Kalinovka customs terminal and the warehouse complex of the Epicenter group of companies. The production facilities of Epicenter Ceramics Corporation are equipped with modern technologies from the world leader SACMI and are capable of producing 12 million square meters of tiles per year. The plans are to increase this figure to 18 million square meters by 2027.

The participation of CFI, the French Agency for Media Development, in the Hub Bucharest project is supported by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
