The Epicenter Ceramic Corporation plans to increase its export share to 30% by 2025. This was stated by the Director of the Epicenter Ceramic Corporation Vladimir Syrov in an interview with the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
“The company is actively working to strengthen its position in foreign markets. In 2024, we managed to double the volume of exports, which gives us confidence in our expansion plans. In 2021, we exported more than 50% of our products. Due to the war, this figure has decreased, but our goal is to reach a share of 27-30% in 2025, and in the near future to restore exports to pre-war levels,” Syrov noted.
Epicenter Ceramic Corporation is the only Ukrainian ceramic tile manufacturer that presented its own stand at the Cevisama 2025 exhibition in Valencia. According to Syrov, participation in this event is the first step in the given direction.
Epicentr Ceramic Corporation currently exports to 16 countries, with Poland, Romania and Moldova accounting for a significant share of total exports. The company also exports to Belgium, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Germany, Lithuania, Slovakia, Austria, Estonia, Qatar and Georgia, and during the war, France and Luxembourg were added to the export portfolio.
“Our priority is to enter highly developed markets such as Germany, France, Great Britain, the USA, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. There is demand for products with high added value there, and we have every chance to compete in these markets,” Syrov said.
The Epicenter Ceramic Corporation plant produces more than 360 types of tiles, which allows it to satisfy a variety of consumer preferences.
The most popular formats are 600×600 mm and 1200×600 mm, whose share in the market consumption exceeds 45%, but the company focuses on technologically advanced coatings: Super Mat is an ultra-matte surface with high anti-slip characteristics for commercial premises; Soft Mat is a satin texture with high wear resistance, which perfectly conveys the depth of color and texture of stone, marble and onyx.
“International customers are particularly interested in large-format 1200×1200 mm tiles made using Continua technology. Even leading European manufacturers rarely use this technology. There is also a growing demand for 20 mm thick tiles, which are used to decorate terraces, gardens, local areas and pedestrian paths. In European countries, non-standard textures are preferred – wood, stone and mixtures. Our updated line features exactly these designs. We are adding new collections of tiles with premium Satin and Full Lappato coatings,” Syrov said.
