Zelensky: Ukraine to share data on Russian damage to energy sector in Kherson with US

President Volodymyr Zelensky said that today he instructed the Minister of Defense to prepare and transmit to the United States data on damage to energy infrastructure facilities in Kherson.

He stated this at a press conference dedicated to the meeting of leaders on issues of support for Ukraine and security in Eure in Paris, as reported by an Ukrinform correspondent.

“The Americans are confident that calm at sea and silence in the energy sector are working. I believe in what is happening: two days ago there was a night when the strikes on the energy sector stopped. Today, Russian artillerymen damaged the energy sector in Kherson. This is how it works,” Zelensky noted.

He stressed that he had instructed the Minister of Defense to convey to the United States information about Russia’s violation of the ceasefire at energy infrastructure facilities, which had been decided in Saudi Arabia.

“We clearly understand where the shooting came from, what was destroyed and what was lost. Believe me, after three years of war, we know exactly what they are shooting at, with evidence, with footage, with video, with everything. We have it all. We will prepare it all. The Minister of Defense received this order from me. It will be prepared and transmitted to the United States. And after that, we are waiting for a response from the United States, as they told us that they will respond to requests,” the president added.

As reported by Ukrinform, Zelensky stated that silence at sea and a ceasefire at energy facilities should begin from the moment the US publishes statements following the talks in Saudi Arabia, that is, from March 25.
