Zelensky and Starmer coordinate joint efforts to achieve peace

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a conversation with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to synchronize joint actions aimed at achieving peace and ensuring security.

The President announced this in his evening video address, as reported by Ukrinform.

“I just spoke with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. I thanked him for his support. We agreed on our actions – joint steps, our collective diplomacy, the work of teams to achieve peace and ensure security. We are preparing a meeting of our military representatives to form contingents. We appreciate the UK's position on the issue of putting pressure on Russia,” Zelensky noted.

He stressed that the pressure must be strong enough to prevent Russia from widening the war. According to him, Moscow is currently mocking its partners' attempts to advance the peace process: new drone attacks and constant brutal shelling.
