Zelensky said that a spat with Trump “would not benefit either side”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Friday's clash with US President Donald Trump “won't benefit either side,” but he stressed that he cannot “change our Ukrainian perception of Russians” and that he does not want them “to kill us.”

Zelensky announced this in an interview with Fox News on Friday evening, as reported by an Ukrinform correspondent.

“It is absolutely, absolutely clear that the Americans are our best friends, the Europeans are our best friends, and Putin's Russia is our enemy. This does not mean that we do not strive for peace. We simply want to recognize reality – the real situation,” Zelensky emphasized, emphasizing the importance of security guarantees.

As previously reported, Zelensky's meeting at the White House on Friday was interrupted, and the planned signing of an agreement on the supply of minerals between the United States and Ukraine was cancelled.
