Ukrainian Foreign Ministry criticizes social network X for censoring Russian crimes against Ukrainian children

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Georgiy Tykhyi condemned the X social platform for labeling posts about the deaths of Ukrainian children as a result of Russian aggression as “sensitive content” and for concealing Russia’s war crimes.

Tykhyi shared his comments on his page on the X network, Ukrinform reports.

“Seriously, X? Since when is the number of Ukrainian children killed by Russia considered 'visual content'? It doesn't stop users from accessing visual content. This is an attempt to cover up Russian war crimes. It is a disgrace and should be repealed,” he said.

Tykhyi accompanied the post with a screenshot of a publication by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry. The screenshot shows that X hid an image with statistics about at least 616 Ukrainian children killed by Russia's actions and 1,869 wounded since the start of the full-scale war.
