Ukraine expects Turkey to actively support peace efforts – Sibikha
This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha in an interview with Ukrinform during his participation in the Antalya Diplomatic Forum.
“Turkey is one of our most important strategic allies. During our meetings with Turkish representatives, we discussed security issues in the Black Sea and Turkey's potential participation in Ukraine's future security infrastructure and security guarantees. We hope that Turkey will actively support our peace efforts. We welcome these initiatives,” Sibiha said.

The Minister also emphasized that Türkiye plays an extremely important role in the Black Sea region.
“Türkiye has helped us in releasing prisoners of war. And this is still relevant. Therefore, we will continue to deepen bilateral relations with our strategic partner Turkey,” he added.
In his speech at the closing of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that ending Russia's war against Ukraine and achieving a fair and sustainable peace agreement remains a priority for Turkey.
