US intelligence pause had no significant impact on Ukraine war – Lammy

British Foreign Secretary David Lammy said the temporary suspension of US intelligence sharing and military support for Ukraine had “not had a significant impact” as it only lasted for a short time.

This was reported by Sky News, as reported by Ukrinform.

Discussing the ceasefire proposal, Lammy said Britain was prepared to consider deploying troops on the ground, “but that would have to be supported by the US.”

“At stake is not only the future of Ukraine, but also the security of our continent, which also affects the direct national interests of Great Britain,” he added.

Lammy stressed that Russia must “answer for the damage caused” to Ukraine and that the issue of “moving from freezing to confiscation” of Russian assets would be discussed.
