Zelensky: All cities and villages of Ukraine united in support of Krivoy Rog

President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that all Ukrainian settlements united to support Krivoy Rog, which was attacked by Russian troops.

According to Ukrinform, this was announced in an evening address posted on the President’s official website.

“Currently, Ukrainian cities and villages have united in support of Krivoy Rog. From Dnepr and Kharkov to Uzhgorod, from Odessa to Kiev, all regions, all regional centers, many communities express their solidarity and pay tribute to the memory of the dead. I thank everyone for this absolutely correct emotion – the emotion of support and unity, which strengthens our state,” the Head of State emphasizes.

Zelensky also expressed gratitude to everyone “whose hearts felt pain and anger because of what happened.”

“We all have to remember: the war continues. We have to support our defense, our soldiers and our country. We have to do everything possible to strengthen Ukraine's position and to convey to as many people in the world as possible what is happening and why they should be with Ukraine, especially in times like these,” he said.

The President also thanked the rescuers who worked at the site of the terrorist attack in Kryvyi Rih. “I thank you, all your colleagues, everyone who works in the city's public utilities sector, who cares about people, all the doctors and nurses, every employee who joined in the assistance, and everyone who cares about our people, about our country. It is important to be together,” Zelensky concluded.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the evening of April 4, the Russian army launched a ballistic missile at a residential area in Krivoy Rog. As a result, 18 people were killed and 61 were injured. At the moment, 74 victims are known.

Late in the evening on April 4, the city was hit by a drone attack, killing one person and injuring seven.

Among the victims and injured are children.

April 7, 8 and 9 have been declared Days of Mourning for those killed in Krivoy Rog.
