Trump's Spiritual Mentor Visits Bucha, Irpen and Borodyanka

Pastor Mark Burns, spiritual adviser to US President Donald Trump, visited Bucha, Irpen and Borodyanka in the Kyiv region, where he witnessed the devastating consequences of Russian aggression.

Chief Rabbi of Ukraine Moshe Reuven Azman announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

“A special guest has come to Ukraine at my invitation – Pastor Mark Burns, personal spiritual adviser to President Donald Trump. He is a prominent figure in religious and political circles in the United States, whose voice is key in shaping America's new strategy and policy,” Asman said.

As the Chief Rabbi noted, he and Pastor Burns first visited Bucha, Irpin and Borodyanka. Azman emphasized that Burns “witnessed the consequences of the Russian army’s crimes against the civilian population of Ukraine and personally heard the stories of the survivors who lived through this terrible occupation.”

“What he saw left a deep impression on him – he did not hide his pain, indignation and sincere sympathy,” Asman added.

He expressed confidence that “these emotions and testimonies will not remain with him alone. Pastor Burns is a man whose voice is heard in those places where important decisions are made. I am confident that the truth from Ukraine will reach the very heart of the new American leadership.”

Asman added that he initiated an interfaith religious forum that brought together representatives of various religious denominations and communities working in Ukraine.

“In these difficult times, when the country is engulfed in war, we, spiritual leaders, have united to share our pain, difficulties and aspiration for a brighter future,” said the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine.

According to Asman, Pastor Burns was a special guest at the forum. “He listened carefully to everyone who spoke, and every word mattered, as it reflected the voices of believers who minister to their communities every day under the rockets and sirens, supporting souls who have lost their homes, loved ones, and faith in the future,” Asman said.
