Ukrainian students won 31 awards at the International Science and Technology Festival “I-FEST”

Ukrainian students achieved significant success at the International Festival of Science and Technology “I-FEST”, receiving a total of 31 awards.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine reported this, according to Ukrinform.

“The competition involved 30 students from the Junior Academy of Sciences, representing 14 regions of Ukraine. Eight students demonstrated mathematical projects, while the rest competed in eight categories, including physics, environmental sciences, social sciences, computer science, engineering, life sciences, multimedia and mathematics. The Ukrainian team won 31 awards: 4 gold, 8 silver, 12 bronze medals and 6 honorary diplomas. Among their achievements, Oleksandra Tabakova's project was noted as one of the top ten in the competition,” the ministry reported.

This year, the largest competition for young researchers and developers in Africa, I-FEST, was held in Hammamet, Tunisia, bringing together 1,200 participants from 40 countries.

As reported earlier, at the end of March, a solemn awards ceremony for the winners of the XV International Taras Shevchenko Literary and Language Competition for Schoolchildren and Students was held at the Mariupol State University, which has now been moved to Kyiv.
