April 6 has been declared a day of mourning throughout Ukraine for those killed in Krivoy Rog

On Sunday, April 6, a day of mourning will be declared in Ukrainian settlements, and state flags will be lowered in memory of the victims of Russia's attack on Krivoy Rog.

This was reported by the Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction and Development – Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Eksii Kuleba in Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.

According to him, “all regional centers of Ukraine, as well as large and small communities, are taking the side of Krivoy Rog. As a sign of solidarity with the victims and their families, tomorrow a Day of Mourning will be declared in the communities.”

“From Kyiv to Odessa, from Kramatorsk to Uzhgorod, flags will be lowered in cities and silence will be observed,” he added.

Kuleba recalled that as a result of the shelling of Krivoy Rog by a ballistic missile and the attack of the “Shaheds” on April 4, 74 people were injured, 19 of whom died. The Russians took the lives of 9 children.

“Russia is waging a war against Ukrainian cities, residential buildings, medical institutions and playgrounds. It is destroying lives, taking lives, killing children,” Kuleba said.

As reported, on the evening of April 4, the enemy fired a ballistic missile at a residential area of Krivoy Rog. Eighteen people were killed and 61 were injured. Later that evening, the city was attacked by drones, killing one person and injuring seven. There are 38 victims of the missile attack in hospitals in Krivoy Rog.

As of April 5, the number of victims of the Russian missile strike on Krivoy Rog has increased to 74 people.

There are children among the dead and injured. April 7, 8 and 9 have been declared days of mourning in Krivoy Rog.
