What to do if you see a suspicious object on the street

In wartime, you need to be as careful as possible on the streets, and this applies not only to air raids.

The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has prepared advice: “What to do if you see a suspicious object on the street.”

Of course, in such a situation, it is recommended to immediately call 101 or 102 and wait for the arrival of rescuers and police.

What to do to avoid harming yourself and others:

• Keep a distance of 500 m from the object;
• Do not touch or move it;
• Do not cover it with soil, pour liquids on it, or cover it;
• Where possible, fence off the dangerous object or install warning signs;
• Inform people nearby about the danger and do not allow others to approach the objects;
• Do not disassemble or dispose of the item yourself.

Please be aware that items left unattended can be potentially dangerous. Take care of yourself and others!
