EBRD approves €270m loan for gas purchase
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this on the air of the X TV channel, as reported by Ukrinform.
“The EBRD Board of Directors has decided to allocate EUR 270 million to Ukraine for the purchase of gas for the two upcoming heating seasons. In addition, the Norwegian government will provide EUR 140 million through the EBRD,” the press release says.

According to Shmyhal, this will help Ukraine accumulate gas reserves in underground storage facilities for the next heating season.
As reported by Ukrinform, NAK Naftogaz of Ukraine and the Polish company ORLEN signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of liquefied natural gas.
