European Commission allocates 3.5 billion euros as part of aid program for Ukraine
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this on his Telegram channel, as reported by Ukrinform.
According to the head of government, “these funds will help us continue to ensure macroeconomic stability.”
Shmyhal stressed that the European Commission confirmed Ukraine's commitment to reforms on the path to full membership in the European Union, as the total amount of financial assistance within the Ukrainian Fund has already amounted to 19.6 billion euros.

He also expressed gratitude to the EU for its “continuous support and solidarity with Ukraine in difficult times. Together, we will all overcome the difficulties and rebuild.”
As previously reported, 16.1 billion euros have already been received into the state budget for 2024 under the Ukraine Facility program.
