Prices for finished dairy products in Ukraine have stabilized
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Association of Milk Producers (AMP).
“Over the past month, Ukraine has seen a noticeable stabilization of prices for finished dairy products. The main reason is the decline in prices for raw milk, which has continued for the third month in a row, as a result of which raw milk has become 18% cheaper compared to the maximum figures of early December 2024,” the association's analysts point out.
It is indicated that milk processing enterprises offer promotional discounts on dairy products in retail chains in order to stimulate demand from the population of Ukraine. Over the past month, there has been a decrease in prices for 72.5% fat butter, Maasdam cheese and pasteurized milk.
Thus, as of April 3, the price of pasteurized drinking milk remained at the level of the previous month and amounted to an average of 59 UAH/kg (+26% y/y).
