Thirteen chiefly Ukrainian and eight Ukraine-based tech companies have been included on the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals annual list of the world’s best outsourcers.
The prestigious Global Outsourcing 100 review, published on Feb. 19, compiles customer references, awards, innovation programs and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
This year’s ranking includes such tech firms as AMC Bridge, Ciklum, Computools, Eleks, Infopulse, Innovecs, Magnise, Miratech, N-iX, Program Ace, Sigma Software, Softengi, Softjourn, Artezio, IBA Group, Intetics, NIX, NTT Data, TEAM International as well as two auditors – Deloitte and KPMG – that provide tech consulting services.
Ukraine’s representation on the list is on the upswing. In 2019, 16 tech companies who were either fully based in Ukraine or had offices here were featured in the ranking. The 2018 ranking included 18 Ukrainian tech firms and 13 made the list in 2017.
The Ukrainian outsourcing sector has boomed in recent years: The country is ranked second in the world after India in terms of outsourcing software development and is in the top 25 information technologies service exporters according to British auditor PwC.
The IT Ukraine Association reported on Feb. 25 that IT exports ballooned by over 30% in 2019, amounting to a total of $4.17 billion. The growth is projected to continue, increasing by 20-25% annually, the association estimates.
