Yarmenko may move to Genoa in Jan
West Ham winger Andr Yarmenko of Ukraine may move to Genoa this winter, according to Italian journalist Nico Schira.
He wrote on Twitter that one of Genoa's priorities during the off-season in January is to sign an attacking midfielder. Genoa manager Andr Shevchenko would like to sign Yarmenko. The Italian club is ready for negotiations.
Genoa now has no slots for players without an EU passport. The club is ready to free up a slot for Yarmenko if it decides to close the deal, Schira said.
Yarmenko scored one goal in 14 matches for West Ham this season. His contract with the English club expires in June 2022.
