Marta Kostyuk defeats Russian Blinkova in the third round of Miami en

The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) 1000 tournament with a prize fund of 8.963 million US dollars has started in Miami, USA.

In the competition to reach the fourth round of the tournament, the second seeded Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk, who has the 23rd seeding, confidently defeated the neutral Anna Blinkova in an hour with a score of 6:2, 6:1, as reported by Ukrinform.

Kostyuk will face the winner of the match between American Jessica Pegula, ranked fourth, and neutral tennis player Anna Kalinskaya (32) in the fight for a place in the quarterfinals.

The tournament in Miami will end on March 30.

As reported, Ukrainian tennis players Yulia Starodubtseva, Dayana Yastremska and Angelina Kalinina ended their performances early, losing in the first round of the tournament in Miami.
