Makhuchikh wins high jump at 2025 European Athletics Indoor Championships
The women's high jump competition at the 2025 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Apeldoorn, Netherlands, has concluded.
Ukrainian Yaroslava Mahuchikh won the gold medal, clearing a height of 1.99 meters, Ukrinform reports.
The silver medal was won by Angelina Tic from Serbia with a result of 1.95 m, and the bronze was won by Sweden's Engla Nilsson, jumping 1.92 m.
Makhuchikh is a world champion, European champion, Olympic medalist and current world record holder, setting a height of 2.10 meters in the high jump.
