Tokyo Paralympics: Swimmer Krypak wins his fifth gd
Ukrainian swimmer Maksym Krypak has won his seventh medal at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo (Japan).
On day ten of the Games, the 26-year-d Paralympian claimed gd in the men's 200m medley, setting a Paralympic record of 2:05.68, according to Ukrinform.
Krypak earlier won gd medals in the 100m freestyle, 100m butterfly, 400m freestyle and 100m backstroke, silver in the 50m freestyle, and bronze in the 4×100m freestyle relay.
Ukraine's Paralympic team has won 90 medals at the 2020 Games so far, including 22 gd, 43 silver, and 25 bronze medals.
