Lomachenko vs Lez 2020 Upset of the Year

Lez was announced the winner by scores of 116-112, 119-109, 117-111. Lomachenko lost his WBA, WBC Franchise and WBO lightweight titles. This was the second defeat for the Ukrainian boxer in his professional career.

Lomachenko underwent shoulder surgery after the fight with Lez. Lomachenko's team said he planned to hd his next bout in March or April 2021.
