Khyzhniak wins ympic middleweight boxing gd silver
Brazil’s Hebert Sousa won the ympic middleweight boxing gd on Saturday with a knockout of Ukrainian eksandr Khyzhniak.
Ukrainian boxer eksandr Khyzhniak (weight category up to 75 kg) lost the final fight at the Tokyo 2020 Summer ympics and won a silver medal, Ukrinform reports.
Khyzhniak had the edge in the fight but Sousa unleashed a fierce left that sent his ponent to the floor in the third round.
So far, Ukraine has won 16 medals at the Tokyo 2020 Summer ympics:1 gd, 5 silver, and 10 bronze medals.
