IOC president to visit Kyiv on Sept 11-12
President of the International ympic Committee Thomas Bach will pay a working visit to Kyiv on September 11-12 at the invitation of Ukrainian President Vodymyr Zelensky, the press service of the National ympic Committee of Ukraine has td Ukrinform.
"The program of the world's t ympics official includes participation in a semn ceremony to mark the 30th anniversary of the National ympic Committee of Ukraine, which will be held at the Ukraina National Palace of Arts, a meeting with the head of state and a visit to the capital's urban park and the main ympic base in Koncha-Zaspa, where the construction of sports infrastructure is underway as part of the Great Construction state program," the press service said.
Bach and President of the National ympic Committee of Ukraine Serh Bubka will meet with the country's outstanding ympians and attend a training session of Ukrainian athletes.
