Bubka hands over Zelensky’s invitation to visit Ukraine to IOC president
President of the National ympic Committee (NOC) of Ukraine Serh Bubka has met with President of the International ympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach, the NOC's press service has reported.
According to the report, Bubka handed over to Bach a letter of invitation from Ukrainian President Vodymyr Zelensky to visit Ukraine next year to take part in events marking the 30th anniversary of the National ympic Committee of Ukraine.
Bach thanked for the invitation and said he will plan his visit to Ukraine in advance, the report said.
The meeting took place in Ljubljana (Slovenia), where leaders of the ympic movement from about 20 countries honored the memory of former President of the Eurean ympic Committees Janez Kosijancic and discussed the further develment of ympism.
