Zelensky stressed Russia's response to ceasefire proposal: daily attacks
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this in his evening video address to the people, Ukrinform reports.
According to the president, today Russia also carried out the following attacks: “Cherkasy region – drone strikes. Kherson region – artillery and drone strikes on civilian objects, on pedestrians. Donetsk region – guided aerial bombs, drones, artillery shelling. Zaporizhia region – drones. Dnipro region – guided aerial bombs and drones. Sumy region – also aerial bombs and drones. Kharkiv region – guided aerial bombs.”

“The geography and brutality of Russian attacks not just sometimes, but practically every day, every night, demonstrate how little Putin cares about diplomacy. For several weeks, we have been seeing American calls for an unconditional ceasefire. And practically every day, in response to these calls, there are Russian drones, Russian bombs, artillery shelling and ballistic missiles,” Zelensky noted.
He stressed that Russia's actions require increased pressure on it – “they deserve any tough measures that could undermine Russia's ability to fight and maintain its system, which seeks nothing but war.”

“Sanctions against Russia are necessary. Ukraine needs more air defense capabilities. More interaction and unity among all partners is needed,” Zelensky emphasized.
As reported by Ukrinform, in the last week alone, Russia launched more than 1,000 attack drones, 1,310 guided bombs and nine missiles of various types at Ukraine.
