Zelensky: Pan-European agreement reached this week to extend sanctions against Russia
As reported by Ukrinform, this information is contained in the evening video address posted on the President’s official website.
“This week, Ukraine received an important pan-European agreement that sanctions against Russia should remain in place as long as aggression and occupation continue. New defense packages for Ukraine were also presented – the largest of which, worth two billion euros, came from France. In addition, new decisions were made on investments in our defense industry, including the production of Ukrainian drones. Our intelligence agencies have also achieved positive results in using certain types of drones to protect our cities,” Zelensky noted.

He also added that interaction with the United States continues regarding joint actions aimed at ending this war.
“The world knows that Russia alone is the cause – the reason why the war has been going on for so many years. We need to put pressure on Russia. And it is important to guarantee the safety of those who have fallen victim to Russian aggression, namely Ukrainians and all Europeans,” the president emphasized.
As reported by Ukrinform, during the summit in France, Ukraine agreed with its partners on additional defense packages that will be presented during the meeting in Ramstein in April.
