Ukraine's EU accession deadline is 2030, says Lithuanian Foreign Minister
This was announced by Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, as reported by Ukrinform.
Budrys noted that 2030 should be seen as the final deadline for Ukraine's accession to the EU. He emphasized the importance of setting this final date and working from it to determine the timing of all other important decisions that need to be made.
The Minister also added that Lithuania is applying its best practices and knowledge accumulated during the EU accession process in the Ukraine2EU project.

On the same day, the European Union launched the Ukraine2EU program, aimed at preparing Ukraine for accession and membership in the EU. Under this initiative, Ukraine will receive 16.7 million euros for EU integration efforts, financed by the EU, Denmark, Lithuania and Sweden.
