Ukraine seeks to take relations with the Philippines to a new level – Sibikha

According to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga, Ukraine aims to strengthen bilateral ties with the Philippines in all areas.

Sibikha reported this on the X social network during a meeting with Philippine Foreign Minister Enrique Manalo in New Delhi, as reported by Ukrinform.

“I was pleased to meet with Enrique Manalo to discuss the significant opportunities for cooperation between Ukraine and the Philippines. Ukrainian Ambassador Yulia Fediv has just arrived in Manila, and we look forward to elevating our bilateral relations to a higher level in all areas,” Sibiha wrote.

He added that important international issues were touched upon during the discussion, including cooperation within the UN, global food security and Ukraine’s interaction with ASEAN.

“I invited my colleague to visit Ukraine,” Sibikha noted.

Sibiha is currently on a working visit to India.

On December 21, 2024, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Fediv as Ukraine's Ambassador to the Philippines.
