Russia's Terrorism Against Civilians Undermines US Peacekeeping Efforts – Sibikha

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga commented on Russia's large-scale drone attack on Kyiv, emphasizing Ukraine's urgent need for additional air defense systems.

Sibikha reported this on the social network X, as reported by Ukrinform.

“Ukraine needs additional air defense capabilities to protect its territory from Russian terror and to increase pressure on the aggressor in order to end the war,” he said.

The head of the foreign policy department recalled that the previous evening Russia had launched a large-scale drone attack on Kyiv, “targeting residential areas and civilians sleeping at home.”

He added that at least three Pele were killed, including a father and his five-year-old daughter, and eight others were injured, following similar attacks in Kryvnytskyi, Zaporizhia, Odessa and other cities in recent days.

“Russia’s systematic and deliberate terror against civilians contradicts its own claims of peace and undermines the efforts of the United States and other partners to establish peace,” Sibikha said.

Earlier it was reported that fragments of Russian drones fell in five districts of Kyiv, killing three people, including a five-year-old child, and injuring ten more.
