Macron reacts to events in the Oval Office

French President Emmanuel Macron plans to contact Ukrainian President Zelensky after their tense war of words with Donald Trump at the White House.

As reported by Ukrinform, this information is being transmitted by BFMTV.

“There is an aggressor, Russia, and there is a country that is a victim of an attack, Ukraine. I believe that we did the right thing by supporting Ukraine and imposing sanctions on Russia three years ago, and we continue to do so. We should thank all those who helped and pay tribute to those who fought from the very beginning,” Macron said, commenting on the events in the Oval Office.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that President Volodymyr Zelensky is “not ready for peace.”

As reported by Ukrinform, a conflict occurred between Trump and Zelensky, as a result of which the Ukrainian president left the White House early.
