Zelensky appoints ambassadors to eight countries
The decrees of April 7 were published on the official website of the president, Ukrinform reports.
By Decree No. 212/2025, former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Netherlands. In addition, by Decree No. 213/2025, Kostin became Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. Both decrees were published on the presidential website on April 7.
Roman Goryainov was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Lebanese Republic in accordance with Decree No. 210/2025.
The President signed Decree No. 214/2025 on the appointment of Mykhailo Vydoynik as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Finland.
By Decree No. 211/2025, Mykhailo Vydoynik was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Finland.
By Decree No. 214/2025, Viktor Mayko was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Kazakhstan.
By Decree No. 216/2025, Yuriy Klymenko became Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Argentina, and concurrently to Paraguay.
By Decree No. 217/2025, Oleksandr Nechytailo was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to China.
By Decree No. 218/2025, Eksiy Gavrish was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Norway.
The president also signed decrees dismissing several ambassadors.
By Decree No. 207/2025, Andriy Melnyk was relieved of his post as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Brazil.
By Decree No. 208/2025, Viktor Mayko was relieved of his post as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Turkmenistan.
By Decree No. 209/2025, G.A. Dibrova was relieved of her duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Finland, and concurrently to Iceland.
As reported by Ukrinform, by decree of February 7, Zelensky appointed ambassadors to Moldova and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay.
