Foreign Ministers of Ukraine and Bhutan hold historic first meeting in New Delhi

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibikha held the first historic meeting with Bhutanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade D.N. Dhungyel at the Raisina Dialogue 2025 conference in New Delhi.

Sibikha shared details of the meeting on the social network X, Ukrinform reports.

“I was pleased to meet with D.N. Dhungyel at the Raisina Dialogue 2025. This is the first ever meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Kingdom of Bhutan. […] We discussed possible areas of mutually beneficial cooperation, in particular in the field of energy and infrastructure,” Sibikha noted.

He also conveyed best wishes from President Volodymyr Zelensky to His Majesty the King of Bhutan, emphasizing Ukraine's interest in deepening bilateral cooperation.

Sibikha expressed gratitude to Bhutan for its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, including within the framework of the United Nations.

Earlier, Sibiha met with his Filipino counterpart Enrique Manalo at the Raisina Dialogue 2025 conference, where they discussed issues of raising the level of bilateral relations between Ukraine and the Philippines in various areas.
