Deputy Prime Minister Pysz: Aid Centre in Jasionka is restoring the “normal rhythm” of deliveries

The Rzeszow-Jasionka junction, the most important transit hub for military support to Ukraine, has resumed normal operations after a week-long hiatus.

This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense Vladyslav Kosinyak-Kamysh at a press conference on Tuesday, March 18, as reported by Ukrinform.

“We are closely monitoring aid supplies coming to Ukraine via Rzeszow Airport and the PLOG HUB in Jasionok. The Hub has returned to its usual rhythm, and the situation has changed compared to the suspension of military aid supplies last week. Full access to intelligence information has also been restored, which we greatly appreciate,” Kosiniak-Kamysz noted.

Asked what expectations are for a planned phone call between US President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin, he expressed hope for positive results, but remained cautious.

Kosinyak-Kamysh also stressed that the allies who participated in the videoconference on Ukraine last Saturday positively assessed the negotiations between the United States and Ukraine that took place in Jeddah last week.

“All leaders view the agreement between the US and Ukraine as a step in the right direction. Today, the US and Ukraine are on one side, and Russia is on the other. Now the initiative is on Russia's side,” said Minister Pisha.

About 90% of all international military aid to Ukraine passes through the Yasenka junction.

Trump earlier announced that he would discuss the war in Ukraine with Putin on Tuesday morning, stressing that while many elements of a final peace deal have been agreed upon, much remains to be done.
