Austrian Chancellor: Ukrainian Pele Deserves Just and Lasting Peace

Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker said that Austria will continue to provide humanitarian, financial and material assistance to Ukraine and will contribute to achieving a just and stable peace for the country.

As reported by Ukrinform, this statement was made by Stocker on the air of the X TV channel after his conversation with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.

“I have just completed a productive exchange of views with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. I convinced him of continued humanitarian, financial and social support from Austria,” Stocker noted.

The Austrian Chancellor also announced that a high-profile Austrian business delegation will visit Kyiv next week.

Stocker stressed that the Ukrainian people have the right to a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace.

“We will support every step towards this goal,” he promised.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, during the meeting on Friday, Shmyhal and Stocker also discussed bilateral economic cooperation and the increasing sanctions against Russia.
