Trump's Spiritual Mentor Meets with Azovstal Defenders
Chief Rabbi of Ukraine Moshe Reuven Azman announced this on his Facebook page, as reported by Ukrinform.
“A significant and touching meeting took place at the Central Synagogue of Ukraine! Pastor Mark Burns, President Trump's spiritual adviser, and I had the honor of hosting the real Heroes, the defenders of Azovstal. Those who stood in defense during the darkest days, who became a symbol of the unwavering Ukrainian spirit, who were seriously wounded but did not surrender,” Asman noted.

According to the Chief Rabbi, “they shared their difficult memories with the pastor, talked a lot about the power of faith in war, about resilience and what is born even in the most difficult times.”
The heroes noted that many of the defenders of Azovstal have been in Russian captivity for more than a thousand days.

Asman added: “The pastor was deeply touched and impressed by the bravery and kindness of our defenders, and I am sure he will take these stories and impressions with him, spreading them further around the world!”
As reported by Ukrinform, Pastor Burns visited the Main Military Clinical Hospital and spoke with Ukrainian military personnel and the institution’s leadership.
