Holosiivskyi CCC: Police respond to report of suspicious vehicle

Officers of the National Police of Ukraine checked the driver and the car, which had been parked for a long time near the building of the Holosiivskyi District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support, on Friday after receiving a corresponding request.

“Information about a car parked near the Trade Center for a long time was received by the 102 hotline. Police teams arrived at the scene. During the inspection, no dangerous substances or objects were found in the car. The police are communicating with the driver of the car. An investigative and operational group is working at the scene,” the police said.

Earlier, reports appeared in the media and public forums about a gathering of law enforcement officers near the Holosiivskyi CCC building in Kyiv.

Information was spreading that the police had surrounded the Holosiivskyi CCC and had also completely blocked the street.

There was talk of a clash between law enforcement officers and military lawyers. One of the men in military uniform, probably a CCC employee, pushed another man to the ground who was filming something on camera.

It turned out that the commotion was caused by a minibus with the inscription “military lawyers.” Eyewitnesses reported that someone called the police and reported that the minibus had been bombed.

Lawyer Viktoria Pavlenko spoke about the incident with the car near the Holosiivskyi CCC:

“We have this car on lease. The person driving has a lease agreement. We received a call that a car from our company was left here. I arrived at the scene, and the sappers arrived,” said military law attorney Viktoria Pavlenko.

At the same time, the driver claims that they tried to wiretap him in this way.

The lawyer added that the car was checked, but no explosives were found. Despite this, they want to take the car away by tow truck.
