Weather for the weekend of April 5-6 for Kyiv and the region

The cold snap will soon intensify in Ukraine. From April 5 and throughout the next week, night frosts, as well as increased wind and wet snow are likely in the regions and the capital.

This was reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko.

What will the weather be like in Kyiv during the week?

On Thursday and Friday, the capital is expected to have wonderful weather – warm, dry, and even sunny (if the noxious fog doesn't get in the way). If only this rain, which is happening now, will linger for another night.

On April 3rd – up to +12 degrees.

“In general, April 3-4 in Kyiv will be meteorologically all inclusive, dry, warm, birds will sing, trees will bloom, spring will delight,” the weather forecaster notes.

Cooling off for the weekend

It will get warmer in the cooler regions closer to Friday, but on Saturday in the western regions, and on Sunday, April 6, a cold air mass will spread almost everywhere in Ukraine. Therefore, the weather forecaster advises to prepare for more cold weather next week.

Probable snow is where the color is pink, Didenko explained and showed the corresponding fragment of the synoptic map.

In Kyiv on Saturday, April 5, the air temperature will drop sharply to +6+9 degrees, and on Sunday there is a possibility of snow and strong winds in the capital.

“Such sharp weather fluctuations can negatively affect people with cardiovascular diseases,” Didenko added.
