Ukraine exported 5.4 million tons of agricultural products in March

In March 2025, Ukraine exported 5.4 million tons of agricultural products, which is 9.8% more than in February.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business (UKAB), Ukrinform reports.

“All groups of goods showed growth compared to the previous month, with the greatest increase observed in the segment of processed oilseeds – the export of cake and oil increased by 42% and 29%, respectively,” the UCAB noted.

Grain exports amounted to 3.6 million tons, which is 5% more than in February 2025. 66% of the total volume was corn, 31% was wheat, 2% was barley.

Ukraine also increased its oilseed exports to 433.6 thousand tons, up 4% from the previous month. Soybeans accounted for 85%, rapeseed for 7%, and sunflower seeds for 6%.

Vegetable oil exports increased by 29%, amounting to 495.6 thousand tons. Sunflower oil dominated – 89%, soybean oil accounted for 11%.

Exports of cake reached 493.5 thousand tons, which is 11% more than in February. Sunflower cake accounted for 70%, and soybean cake for 30%.

Volumes for other categories of agricultural products also increased by 11%, amounting to 363.2 thousand tons.

As previously reported, over the past five years Ukraine has significantly expanded its exports of agricultural seeds, especially grain and oilseeds, increasing their volume sixfold while simultaneously reducing imports.
