The Ministry of Economy will allocate grants to 28 processing enterprises for a total of UAH 157.9 million within the framework of the program

The Ministry of Economy approved 28 applications within the framework of the subsidy program for processing enterprises; the total amount of grants will be UAH 157.9 million.

“These are the first subsidies for processing enterprises in 2025. Close to UAH 158 million will be received by 28 companies. Last year, the subsidy program for the development of the processing industry in the amount of up to UAH 8 million allowed almost 400 small and medium-sized enterprises to update their equipment. We hope that the pace this year will exceed last year's figures,” First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko was quoted as saying in a message on the department's website on Wednesday.

She added that the program is also being expanded so that more producers can take advantage of it.

The ministry noted that the expected period for receiving funding is 1–1.5 months after the end of the wave and fulfillment of all conditions.

It is indicated that the program is being implemented within the framework of the “Made in Ukraine” policy. It provides enterprises with the opportunity to receive funds for the modernization or expansion of production capacities on co-financing terms. Currently, state support is received by manufacturers of agricultural machinery, electrical equipment and medical products, printed products, aircraft, food products, animal feed, clothing, as well as wood and metal products.

The program is financed from the state budget (through the Ministry of Economy) and from the Compulsory State Social Insurance Fund in Case of Unemployment (through the State Employment Service). In 2024, the state will provide 375 grants to producers totaling UAH 1.8 billion.

Applications are being submitted in two-week waves. The new wave started on March 29. Documents can be submitted via the Diia platform.
