Ukrainians have submitted over 200,000 electronic applications for one-time economic assistance from the government to receive Hr 8,000 ($283) each. The money will help them to continue working during the COVID-19 crisis, according to Ukraine’s economy minister Ihor Petrashko.

Officially registered entrepreneurs who work in the industries that suffered because of the pandemic restrictions can apply for relief via the mobile application or website Diia by Dec. 31.
