Central Plains Group to Allocate 1,300 Hectares to Potatoes in 2025

The Central Plains Group (CPG) company from Lviv region, which includes a modern starch production plant, has started the 2025 season, as reported by the press service on Facebook.
“On March 27, CPG officially opened the potato planting season,” the statement said.
“Central Plains Group noted that 1,300 hectares of potatoes are planned for planting in 2025, including potatoes for starch, table and seed use.
CPG Group began its operations in the Lviv region in 2006, initially growing potatoes on 100 hectares, as well as grain, rapeseed and sugar beets. In 2021, a potato storage facility with a capacity of 23 thousand tons was put into operation in the Lviv region, and in 2022, a starch plant with a capacity of 10 thousand tons per year was opened near Lviv. The average area allocated for potatoes is 1000 hectares.
