Simple and effective ways to clean tablecloths from stains that often occur during dinners

How to remove stains from a tablecloth

If meat juice drips onto the tablecloth or leaves a trace of any other fat, it is important to absorb the excess. To do this, sprinkle the stain with soda, salt, or any other absorbent.

When it comes to berries or fruit juice, boiling water will come to the rescue (especially if the stains are fresh). Those fabrics that cannot be treated with too hot water can be washed with lemon juice or citric acid dissolved in water.

Wine can be cleaned with a solution made from equal parts baking soda, salt, and laundry detergent. Mix them together until they form a paste, rub them into the stain, leave for 15 minutes, and then rinse.

To get rid of tea and coffee stains, mix fine salt in warm glycerin and rub into the stain. After 15 minutes, rinse and wash the item as usual.
