However, you should definitely iron towels and items you take with you to the beach or pool. They may harbor germs, so it's worth disinfecting them additionally. There's an easy way to iron terry cloth without damaging the loops.

Most often, the fibers are damaged by the pressure of a hot iron. Therefore, use a more gentle method – place the towel vertically on a hanger and steam it on both sides.

Then shake the fabric vigorously to straighten the fibers. Do not fold the product immediately. Wait until it cools down first.
