A simple and quick way to remove scratches from an induction hob

Induction hobs have become a permanent fixture in the lives of Ukrainians. And although such hobs are easier to clean, they can sometimes leave unsightly scratches on their surface. We have found a way to remove them, Ukr.Media reports.

Induction hobs have many advantages and one big disadvantage. On the one hand, they look very modern and fit better into the kitchen interior. And they heat the pan directly, which reduces the risk of burns to an absolute minimum. Cleaning such appliances is very easy. Just wipe it with a damp microfiber cloth, and the hob will shine again. However, there is one big disadvantage – the induction hob is very easy to scratch.

To get rid of scratches, use (no! Not the ubiquitous vinegar this time) baking soda. To do this, make a paste of water and baking soda in a 2:1 ratio. It is enough to thoroughly rub the surface of the stove with the solution and use a soft cloth to polish the places where the scratches appeared. Finally, wipe off the remaining paste with a damp cloth. Small scratches will no longer be visible.

Another method involves going to the bathroom. Simply rub toothpaste on the induction hob.

Important! This should be regular toothpaste—gel or whitening toothpaste will not work.

Apply the paste to the surface with a soft sponge and leave it on the stove for 5 minutes. Finally, wipe off the remaining paste with a damp cloth.

Important! In order not to damage the induction hob, you need to follow a few simple rules. First, never clean it with a rough sponge. Second, if stains appear on it, do not rub them with scrapers.

Use a spray to remove dirt and leave it to soak for a quarter of an hour. After 15 minutes, wipe with a microfiber cloth. And don't forget to follow the recommendations of the stove manufacturer.
