Zelensky held talks with US senators before meeting with Trump
The President of Ukraine announced this on Telegram, informing Ukrinform.
“A significant visit to the United States. In Washington, I met with a bipartisan delegation from the U.S. Senate. Our discussions focused on further military assistance to Ukraine, relevant legislative initiatives, my meeting with President Trump, efforts to achieve a just and sustainable peace, our vision for ending the war, and the importance of reliable security guarantees,” Zelensky said.
He stressed that Ukraine is proud of such strategic partners and friends as the United States.
“We are grateful for the continued bilateral and bipartisan support for Ukraine throughout all three years of full-scale Russian aggression,” the president added.

As reported earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit the United States on February 28. His schedule includes a meeting at the White House with US President Donald Trump in the Oval Office.
Both presidents are expected to make statements to the media and hold a joint press conference at 1:00 p.m. Washington time (8:00 p.m. Kyiv time).
